I'm so excited to announce some amazing updates and changes we've just made to PowToon, as you know we're always working hard behind the scenes for you! I hope you'll like what we've done.

Alignment Grid:

In terms of usability we're adding an alignment grid which should really improve your user experience, and finally allow you to center your images! You can add this grid to the editor by clicking on the "grid" button at the top of your screen, and once you publish your video the grid will automatically disappear. You can also manually remove the grid by clicking on the "grid" button at the top of the editor if you wish.

Edge Shadow:

You'll now have the option to remove the shadowing around the edges of any PowToon (the vignette). By clicking on the "edge" button at the top of the editor, you can successfully remove all edge shadowing from your PowToon which will allow for a cleaner look should you chose to embed your video on a platform with a white background. The vignette will not be removed automatically, so if you do not want the shadowing you will have to manually remove it by clicking on the "edge" button.
