INTRODUCTION
In this essay I will try to explain the workings of the BLU-RAY the advantages and disadvantages of it, if is easy to use, how does it serve to us, which is its power consumption and whether it is advisable to purchase one.
BLU-RAY :
Shuji Nakamura invented it in 2006 (The Sony company launched it to the marketing) Even-though it was a project that came from long ago.
The Blu-ray disc holds a blue laser (hence the name "BLU-RAY", would handle the name "BLUE" but was not allowed.) Instead the DVD holds a red laser beam. The blue laser gives us a clearer picture is the high definition DVD BLU-RAY.
This and other technological advances, can store significantly more information than the DVD on a disc the same size and appearance, has been updated and also has the ability to play high definition, 3D, video stores and connects to internet.
Consumes 73 watts during playback, if we compare how much energy a laptop consumes 90 watts when idle only really counting all the energy you need for the backlight internet connection etc .... are 300 watts.
It is an electronic device difficult to use because it is just like using a single DVD with more performances and more technological advances.
Mainly used to play media is very efficient and easy to use, to get a clearer picture can connect a cable high definition "HD". Can be used on all TVs and has no drawbacks. It has USB input so you can play files that are not on
