64- Year Old Endurance Swimmer Sets Record With Epic 103 Mile Swim

In September 2nd, 2013 a 64 year old became the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida Keys. The 103 mile journey began on Saturday, September 1, 2013 when Diana dived into the warm water off Havana, Cuba. It took five attempts, She had been harboring since 1978.She Swam without any shark protection!

I chose this article because I find it very interesting. It was rely exciting when I saw that the woman swam almost continuously for the entire 52 hours an she didn’t sleep .

I feel think this is important because we should never, ever give up. You are never too old to chase your dreams. I wanted to share this article because it was very unique and interesting

She never gave up. I think that she is a example to the world.

El relieve del País Vasco se caracteriza por lo accidentado de su territorio. Los valles atlánticos (Oria, Urola, Deba, Léni, Nervión, Asa y Cadagua entre otros) forman un paisaje de valles sinuosos por lo que suelen discurrir ríos caudalosos encajados en montañas de pendiente pronunciada pero de moderada altura, ya que son las que superan los 1000 m de altitud. Las montañas del interior marcan la línea de separación entre las provincias del Guipúzcoa (Gipuzkoa) y Vizcaya (Bizkaia) con Álava (Araba).Se trata de crestas calcáreas de alturas comprendidas entre los 1.000 y los 1.600m de altitud, que forman una barrera natural respecto de las zonas más llanas al sur de la comunidad.
