TEENAGE PREGNANCY
INTRODUCTION
Teenage pregnancy is a social problem that has become very common in our country and around world. We can say that pregnancy in teenagers is a public health problem.
According to some researches, about thirteen million girls each year give birth, but 70.000 of them die.
Also some experts about Ovarian Cancer have said that one of the principals causes of this cancer, is premature sexual relationships.
As an adolescent, I think that we should be more responsible about this by reading books about this or searching on the web and learning more about sexuality and how to be responsible. We can reduce this kind of early problems if we knew more about this, because they bring consequences in our lives, careers and family.
This is an obvious responsibility of both parts, male and female teenagers.
In most of the cases the girls are the affected ones, because the young boys usually get away from the problem, leaving alone the female partner during her pregnancy.

SEXUAL EDUCATION
Teenage pregnancy stems from many causes such as lack of sex education that mainly due to a lack of family and the lack of objective information about contraception or other methods to prevent pregnancy. We must also emphasize the increasing use of alcohol and drugs since an early age and debauchery of the teenager.
Sexual experimentation can drive us to unwanted pregnancies or STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases).
As a teenager I think that is essential to have good sexual education at an early age which can help the adolescent to prevent early pregnancy. In fact there is not discrimination about this problem, because this is a worldwide reality.
It is a common sense to see and understand that a girl can’t take care well of the baby and can’t feed the child properly.
According to Aprofe, it would be a government policy to include this subject in our school, that would allow teenagers to inform themselves, about Sexual Education and how it can be a good changer to the teenagers and also it can show us how to be aware of our attitudes and values, which are the things that leads us to accept and live our own sexuality, freely and responsibly.
