Potassium: it serves to support the osmotic pressure, specially to the interior of the cells
Na: involved in the regulation of fluid balance causing water retention in the body
chlorine: It controls as regulator of the acid balance / base of the liquids of the organism.
Effects of excess:The element gases oxygen,nitrogen in excess hurts the lungs, lack of clacium produces osteoporosis and excess of sodium can produces hypertention.

Water for cleaning or to drink doesn´t hurt the organism.
