Experiment: Anti-gravity water

Material:

• Wine glass

• Handkerchief

• Water

• Bowl

Procedure:

1.- Place the scarf over the wine glass.

2.- Push the scarf down into the glass.

3.- Fill glass ¾ full.

4.- Pull the scarf tight.

5.- Grasp glass and prepare to flip.

6.- Flip and slowly pull flaps down.

Experiment: Balloon skewer

Material:

• Vegetable oil

• Skewer

• Balloon

Procedure:

1.- Blow up the balloon.

2.- Knot the end of the balloon.

3.- Oil the skewer.

4.- Gently twist the skewer into the balloon next to the knot.

Experiment: Color changing milk

Material:

• Milk

• A plate

• Food coloring

• Dish soap

• A cotton swab

Procedure:

1.- Pour the milk onto the plate.

2.- Add one drop of each color to the center.

3.- Put some dish soap on one end of the cotton swab.

4.- Place the soap end of the cotton swab to the center of the colors.

Experiment: Do not open bottle.

Material:

• Water

• Sharpie

• Thumbtack

• 1 liter bottle with cap

Procedure:

1.- Fill the bottle with water.

2.- Screw on the cap.

3.- Write a warning on the bottle.

4.- Use the thumbtack to poke holes in the sides of the bottle.

5.- Test your bottle by loosening the cap.

6.- Place the bottle in a spot where someone one will notice it.

Experiment: Flying ping pong ball.

Material:

• Ping pong ball

• Hairdryer

• Toilet paper roll

Procedure:

1.- Turn the hairdryer to cool.

2.- Aim the hairdryer straight up and place the ping pong ball directly above it.

3.- Slowly lower the toilet paper roll over the ping pong ball.

4.- Add a second ping pong ball.
