Good morning teacher and classmates, today we will talk about the country we chose which is "Russia" which will be in different sectors. Here is my classmate Carla.
Carla's Dialogues – Country.
Good morning, Professor and classmates! I'll be speaking about the country and nationality of Russia today.
The country's name is Russia, and the name comes from the Russian word for "the land of Rus", which was created by Riúrik on December 25th, 1991. Russia's independence came in 1991, following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, which was led by Mikhail Gorbachev.

Russian is the official language of Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. To the citizen of Russia, they are called Russians. Russia has a population of over 140 million, and has a significant player in world history and politics. Thank you for listening.

Jemdely’s Dialogues – Natural Place.
The Mir mine, also called Mirny mine is a former Russian open-pit diamond mine, now inactive, located next to the town of Mirny, in the republic of Sakha, Eastern Siberia. The mine is 525 m deep and has a diameter of 1200 m,1 making it the second largest excavated hole in the world. The diamond deposit was discovered on June 13, 1955 by Soviet geologists Yuri Khabardin, Ekaterina Elagina and Viktor Avdeenko during the great Amakinsky expedition in the Yakutia Autonomous Socialist Republic (Yakutia ASSR).
In 1996 the volcanoes of Kamchatka, located in the Asian part of Russia, were declared a Unesco World Heritage Site. It should be noted that the designation "Volcanoes of Kamchatka" includes not only the volcanoes but also their entire environment, characterized by a unique variety of species and landscapes.

The flag of Russia is a tricolor flag composed of three horizontal stripes of equal width, being white the upper one, blue the central one and red the lower one. The flag has been in use since 1696, except for the Soviet period between 1922 and 1991, and was restored in its present form on December 11, 1993 after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The colors of this flag are the origin of the Pan-Slavic colors.
