TOPIC 2 – MY TRIP TO LIMA PERÚ

FINAL DRAFT

A wonderful trip I made to Lima, Last January with my best friends Andrea and Veronica, and my boyfriend German, I felt very happy, terrify and enjoy, but too many other pleasurable emotions.

I have been working in my job for two years. Like a cost analyst in a plastic company, is a bit stressful and numbers come to wear. I hadn’t gone on vacations, during that old time so after this time I requested my two weeks all. I decided to travel abroad. A few days before my boyfriend German. How is from Peru invited me to visit his country.

I took the Lan Flight that would take me to my destination on January Monday 5th. I am very scared of flying on planes. I never travel by plane. However, this time I had to take a plane for my trip. The plane took off at 5:00 am from Guayaquil airport. It was a terrifying experience for me. I thought the plane was going to fall and crash we would all die. I took a sleeping pill, so I slept for most of the flight. It finally landed in Lima´s international airport at 7:30 am, I felt much better.

We were finally in the city of Lima. There we visited many commercial centers. They are very big. Bigger than in our city. We were surprised to see the many types of goods in the stores that had everything and at all prices: cheap things and experience things. Other next day we went to the beach in Lima, the weather was so cold, we all most didn’t swimming. My boyfriend complained that it was too cold. He wanted to go back to the hotel. He weather in the city was cool during our stay two days.

First time, we had the opportunity to go on a huge cinema room in Lima, near one of the huge commercial centers. We saw “the relentless search 3” movie, it was very exciting. Also went to Starbucks, never tried, because here in Ecuador there this coffee franchise. Them we tried the biggest burgers Lima, and finally we went to buy “La Lucha Sanguchera”, seriously, they are the richest sandwiches I have ever had.

We stayed in two hotels, the first in downtown Lima. And second was on the third day of our trip, when we went to the city of Miraflores which is 20 minutes from the capital. The beauty and comfortable “NM Hotel” in Miraflores. I fell in love with this city and this Hotel. There are great restaurants that offer delicious food in Miraflores, the people were very good and so kind they welcome us and make us feel at home. Sushi is my favorite food, in this Hotel was delicious and the bedrooms it was lovely. We went around the city and had a lot of fun there.

Finally, after traveling throughout the city, and to go to many places, we went to buy many gifts as souvenirs of our visit to relatives. We returned from our trip to this magical city on Friday.
