The architecture is the art and technology of planning and designing buildings, other structures and spaces that form the human environment.
The architecture has been used from very remote epochs from B.C.
The History of the architecture is a subdivision of the History of the art taken charge of the study of the historical evolution of the architecture, his beginning, ideas and accomplishments. This discipline, as well as any other form of historical knowledge, is subject to the limitations and strengths of the history as science: diverse perspectives exist in relation to his study, most of which they are western.
It includes the consideration of the whole physical environment that surrounds the human life: we cannot avoid her while we form a part of the civilization, because the architecture is the set of modifications and alterations got in the terrestrial surface in order to satisfy the human needs, exempting only the desert cigar.
As the human communities were evolving and increasing, pressed for the warlike constant threats, the first architectural modality in developing was essentially military man. In this period there arose the first cities which configuration was limited by the existence of walls and by the protection of exterior threats.
The important thing is that the architecture serves for the man. Because actually, the architecture continues fulfilling the same function that 4.000 years ago, and it is not possible to assure him that a style should be better than different; what the Sumerian or the Romans were doing was of great quality. What changes is the way of doing the things.
