Choroní
Henri Pittier through the park, 40 minutes from Maracay, it's one of the most attractive towns of the venezuelan geography, Choroni, already from the road amidst beautiful cloud forest, you begin to enjoy the trip to this beautiful coast of central Venezuela. The road to Choroni is narrow, but the vegetation ensures that only the ride, well worthwhile.
The town of Chroroni was founded in 1616, reflecting their seniority in the beautiful colonial architecture it has.
Around the square Bolívar of the town of Choroní, you can appreciate the church of St. Clara of Assisi and the house of Mother María De San José. The latter rescued by the congregationto wich belonged the venezuelan blessed, in it you can see a small museum or the chapel built in her name.
Demography:

Culture:
Each June 24, the feast of St. Juan Bautista is held, event that attract a large number of domestic and foregin tourist who gather to dance traditional dances in honor of the saint, giving rise to drum rhythms such as taps, fulías, parrandas and peals that make Choroni, like Chuao and other peoples of the Venezuelan coast, important center of tourism Venezuela.
