C-kan was born on July 26, 1987 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
His Real name is José Luis Maldonado Ramos
 

He is a rapper from Guadalajara who  rose to fame when he began recording music videos and upload them toYouTube channel. Thanks to his efforts, social networks and Internet music sites, made him now one of the most influential folk artists of gangster rap in Mexico.
At age 12, he was orphaned of father and when he started living with gangs around his home.

Beginings in music

At 16 years old and somewhat influenced by music of their favorite bands like Cypress Hill and Control Machete, is was that rap  who call too much attention to C-Kan.
At 17 he began to write his own lyrics and made three tracks recorded on a cassette tape and a tape recorder.

In early 2007 he released his second mix tape called "Silhouettes Rap", and in the middle of that year it was follow by "Let me refine the roosters".

Beside BODKA37 and MASIBO, he form the group called RADIKALES and putting on the streets in late 2007 the material called "The Revolt of the Dream"

One of her most watched video was the one titled "Soy de barrio".

The musical style of this Cholo Enamorado, as he was named, is comparable with the rapers cartel de  Santa and Big boy.
In his songs, he speaks openly of what is lived on the streets of Guadalajara: bullets, death, blood, corruption and promote respect.
