I had high hopes for 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' and the movie did not disappoint me at all. Indeed, after seeing it I think we're at the best supehéroes film has been made, together with 'The Dark Knight' Nolan (I open umbrella).
Bryan Singer has managed to revitalize the X-Men saga signing the best film Marvel mutants. Its predecessor, 'X-Men: First Class, directed by Matthew Vaughn, I found a great movie, but with some weaknesses, both in rhythm and in some subframes mutants. However, Synger, who directed the first two installments of X-Men (and it shows), you get a fuller, rounder in every sense movie.
It is a suspense-movie that has special importance with Wolverine and Mystique, who has rhythm-I've been wanting more, despite its 130 min. - Which delves into the emotions of the characters in the decisions taken and to be taken. No it is only superficial. And something very importanete, no action when action must be no rest when you need to have rest. Nothing more, nothing less.
As for the future / past issue, the truth is that I liked it as is proposed and explained. At no time have the feeling of being lost in the plot. Also, flashbacks, when they appear, bring interesting things to the story and make it more fluid.
Technically is spectacular, the action scenes are a blast (see the prologue, the Pentagon or the White House scenes) and mutants appear in all its glory. Wolverine, Magneto, Professor Xavier, Beast, Mystique ... they all give the maximum to face a formidable enemy, the scientist Bolivar Trask, brilliantly played by Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones'). A villain brains "Sentinel" machines that govern the future really scary.
