BUSINESS PLAN OF PRODUCTS PREPARED WITH HIGH FASHIONED ARTISAN EMBROIDERY USING FAIR TRADE TO EXPORT TO TEXAS.
Since Mexico opened its commercial doors almost entirely to international operations, these have increased considerably. Likewise, free trade agreements with other countries have opened the possibility for micro, small, medium enterprises and individuals to start export / import activities with other countries, giving them an opportunity to grow in all aspects.
One of the factors that most affect small and medium enterprises is globalization and the constant competition and innovation that exists in the market, so Mexican companies have two options: to grow and expand to other markets through added value or Going into decline, which is what is normally happening, as they continue their normal activities without transforming or using all their resources in projects that benefit the company as well as the country.
Obviously no company would like to disappear, being absorbed by global competition, which is why export is one of the most viable options for not closing its doors, since finally in Mexico it has the capacity and the entrepreneurial attitude sufficient to to face globalization, and thus respond to the great international demand.
In turn, Mexico produces a wide variety of textile crafts, having as a distinctive feature having a wide range of colors and unique designs that, because of their quality and richness, these textiles are also used in a decorative way in clothes, shoes and accessories, turning them into high fashion ethnic products.
Exports of textiles for the year 2015 represented the amount of 1,384 million dollars according to data from the Bank of Mexico for this year and has been increasing especially to the United States with almost 60% of operations of this type with our neighboring country, so it represents a great business opportunity, besides that in the State of Texas, the population of almost 40% are Latino people, who are high potential customers and who are also part of the nostalgia market.
However, some small and medium companies lack the knowledge when trying to consolidate a sale abroad since having a global presence implies several requirements that go from the necessary documentation, to the way of taking the product from one country to another.
So in this research the opportunity will be exploited and a business plan will be developed to export products with handcrafted Mexican embroideries providing information that artisans are unaware of and can serve to penetrate the North American market, a powerful, attractive market with high possibilities of acceptance to your products.
