undergoes- you are probably asking yourself “why is chemistry important to me?
The answer to this question can be illustrated by real-life events that involve discoveries; one discovery involves something that you probably use every day-refrigeration.
Another discovery involves energy from the sun. Because you eat food and spend time outdoors, this discovery is also important to you.
In addition to being a science in its own right, chemistry serves to other sciences and to the industry.
The principles of chemistry contribute to
the study of physics, biology, agriculture, engineering, medicine and many other sciences.
The metabolism of food to provide energy to the living organisms is a chemical process. The knowledge of the molecular structure of proteins, enzymes, acids and nuclides to aid research on living cells.
Chemistry plays a very important role in our quest to alleviate the shortage of food in the world. Agricultural production has increased with chemical fertilizers, pesticides and improved seeds. The refrigerants have enabled chemical industry of the frozen food, which conserves large quantities of food. Chemistry also produces synthetic nutrients.
The energy derived from chemical processes used for heating, lighting, and transport. Echo, virtually the entire industry depends on the chemistry.
Apart from all these benefits and advantages of the chemistry, some disadvantages are environmental problems such as air and water pollution, because many products have chemical, global warming as an effect of this, also the effect on health.
