Summary
We are going to present the importance of managing emotions to avoid chronic stress. What is knowing how to manage our emotions? What is chronic stress?
Our emotions are the responses to certain stimuli, knowing how to manage these emotions refers to identifying how to name what we are feeling, in this way it is useful in different situations such as avoiding unnecessary confrontations, being empathetic, learning from mistakes, as well as being able to express feelings and be centered.
On the other hand, chronic stress is an imbalance generated by external or internal demands that produce a waste of calories. Therefore, it is harmful because high levels of cortisol, glucose and insulin are generated which cause cardiovascular diseases.
If you do not have a good management and regulation of emotions, it affects a person with stress because not knowing how to manage what you are feeling sinks into these emotions which comes to cause a higher level of stress, which would come to make the "chronic stress".
Keywords: Chronic stress, management of emotions.
Introduction
The present work intends to present information based on the "Importance of the management of emotions to avoid chronic stress", the aspects to be touched on in this topic are concepts of authors who think about this topic, in this way it will be in a debate of opinions on how emotions influence chronic stress, either negatively or positively.
The reason why this research is being carried out mainly is for the work of the LRPD1 of the course of "Technical English I" but, nevertheless, also for our part as future psychologists is to better understand the approaches on which different authors are based to mention if the management of emotions in people with chronic stress is important.
Chronic stress is a problem that produces both physical and emotional pain, there are certain situations that generate prolonged stress activations and together with-it high levels of cortisol, which physically increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, cancer, among other chronic diseases. In the emotional part, it affects in a similar way, but there is something important to highlight and that is that emotions influence too much so that a pain that was first only "emotional pain" becomes a "physical pain", here we would already be talking about a disorder.
