If you were either a Hindu or a Muslim, how would your ideas and spiritual practices change if you were to live by the other group’s rules?

Being a free young adult, my life would change completely if I was either Muslim or Hindu. Today I am able to choose my own path and have my own mind to make decisions freely. I believe that when one is born into a religion the mentality of that person adapts to what is being thought to them. If I was born in the Muslim religion I wouldn’t have the privilege I have today being that I am a woman. Women in the Muslim religion according to the Qur’an should be modest; this is done to protect women. As a Muslim respect towards the Qur’an is a must, the reason for this is because is considered the literal word of God. Like every religion the Muslims have basic doctrines known as the Five Pillars of Islam. The Five Pillars of Islam is known as the duties every Muslim should commit to. The duties include Shahadah, Salat, Zakat, Sawn and Hajj. Life as a Muslim would change the way I believe life should be, the way I pray and honor God.

On the other hand if I was born in the Hindu religion life as women would be very difficult. I would be forced to become a Hindu on the first day I breathe air from earth, not only that but I would be govern for the rest of my life starting with my father ending with my husband. Life as a Hindu is very difficult if you are a woman, you would be forced to clean cheerful and clever in household and business. In their religion there are about 330,000,000 gods, but they give importance to two gods known as the god the creator and the destroyer. Hindus believe that to reconcile yourself with gods you need obedience, meditation, food offerings, and washing in the Ganges River. One interesting fact about the Hindus is how they value the cows because of their milk and fuels. Both Hindus and Muslims have very different ways of in their religion. It is very interesting to learn how many differences all religions have and how it affects the human’s way of thinking with their unique doctrines. This really helps me appreciate my religion an where I come from.
