The Flygt N-Pump’s revolutionary, patented self-cleaning
impeller design provides a flow path through the pump,
greatly reducing the risk of clogging, and makes the
N-Pump series an ideal solution for high-efficiency
pumping over long duty periods. That means lower
overall energy consumption: a significant factor in
reducing the whole life cost of your pumping operation.
Flygt products deliver outstanding, cost-effective
performance that has been proven in applications
such as:
• Wastewater
• Raw water
• Cooling water
• Sludge
• Storm water
• Industrial effluent
Sustained High Efficiency
When solid objects, such as stringy fibrous material and
modern trash, enter the inlet of a conventional pump,
they tend to get caught on the leading edges of the
impeller vanes. This build-up reduces the impeller’s
efficiency, resulting in increased power consumption
that, in turn, translates to increased energy costs.
As solids continue to build-up inside the impeller,
hydraulic efficiency continues to decrease and motor
thermal protection can trip causing the pump to stop.
This leads to costly unplanned service calls.
The high efficiency of the Flygt N-Pump is sustained
over time due to its self-cleaning ability, keeping
energy costs to a minimum.
Flexible and Modular Design
Flygt N-Technology enables you to tailor the hydraulics
to meet the requirements of virtually any application.
Choose the hardened cast iron version for typical
wastewater applications, the Hard-Iron™ version
for abrasive and corrosive applications, and the
chopper ring version for cutting long fibers or solids in
wastewater. Whatever you choose, you never sacrifice
pump efficiency and you can easily swap the N-Pump’s
modular hydraulic-end to fit your operating conditions.
Flygt N-Pumps take on the toughest applications and
get the job done. Every component is designed and
manufactured to deliver sustained high efficiency.
Thanks to patented N-Technology with its innovative
self-cleaning impeller, Flygt N-Pumps deliver the
highest total efficiency while lowering your energy bill
and reducing unplanned maintenance costs. That adds
up to total peace of mind – and big savings over the
long term.

Xylem invented submersible mixers in 1958 and
introduced them to the treatment market in1977, truly
revolutionizing the industry. Since then, these remarkable
machines have proven themselves over and over in a
multitude of different applications. Flygt submersible
mixers provide reliability, efficiency and flexibility of
operation. They are an excellent choice for use in a variety
of municipal and industrial applications.
Mixing Freedom
The compact design of the Flygt submersible mixer gives
it an unparalleled degree of freedom to be positioned,
allowing the jet to be directed for optimum effectiveness.
Free to travel up and down a vertical guide rail, it is easily
installed and adjusted to any tank depth. Thanks to the
unique adjustable mounting, it can be directed up or
down, left or right, precisely where it’s needed the most.
We offer an outstanding selection of dry-pit pumps.
In fact, our Flygt A-C Series pumps set extraordinary
standards for quality and performance in wastewater
treatment plants everywhere. What makes our A-C Series
pumps so special? Its advantages start with the exclusive
EQUISEAL™. It seals dynamically by opposing discharge
pressure, thus eliminating the need for costly mechanical
seals. EQUISEAL means a seal flush isn’t required – so
users enjoy big savings on water
