In this essay present talk about constructivism theory, what is constructivism? What’s their function? Why is important to know about constructivism? What authors participate in the constructivism? Etc. the constructivism is the most common thing in the life because is the form where the person learn or feel motivation to do something.
The constructivism starts almost in the XX century; the authors were John Dewey Brunner, Piaget and Vygotsky that is the major in the theory. Each author has a different way to define about constructivism but they have the same result in the end that is the motivation in the learning process.
This theory holds that knowledge is not discovered, is built on the understanding that the student builds his knowledge from his own way of being, thinking and interpreting the information, from this perspective, the student is responsible to be actively involved in the process learning.
The application of constructivist learning model also implies recognition that different people learn in different ways, requiring relevant methodological strategies to encourage potential and resources. a student ratios and values and has confidence in his own abilities to solve problems, communicate and learning to learn.
CONSTRUCTIVIST PARADIGM
Do you know, what is constructivism? Who is the creator? What impact does it have in education? How does it function? What is the difference from a traditional class and a constructivist class? What are its advantages and disadvantages in the teaching learning process? Etc. First it has to be defined what is constructivism well, it can be said that "it is basically a theory, based on observation and scientific study about how people learn, wich says that people construct their own understanding and knowledge of the world, through experiencing things and reflecting on those experiences."
This theory occurs when we encounter something new because we have to reconcile it with our previous ideas and experience, maybe changing what we believe, or discarding the new information as irrelevant. In any case, we are active creators of our own knowledge. To do this, we must ask questions, explore, and assess what we know.
In other words this paradigm posits that learning is an active, constructive process. The learner is an information constructor rather than just acquiring, it’s building it up.
