1. Gross National Income per capita

The GNI per capita is the dollar value of a country’s final income in a year, divided by its population. It reflects the average income of a country’s citizens. By knowing the GNI we can understand the country’s economic strengths and needs, as well as the standard of living of each citizen. If there is more GNI the people living in the country tend to have longer life expectancies, higher literacy rates, better access to safe water, and lower infant mortality rates.

Life expectancy equals the average number of years a person born in a given country would live if mortality at each age remains constant in the future. There are several factors that could affect the quality of the healthcare like ongoing wars, obesity, every-day life, etc.

The condition or quality of being literate, especially the ability to read and write.

Literacy Rate: 94.2%

Male Literacy: 96.7%

Female Literacy: 91.5%

8. Ecological Footprints

Impact of human activities measured in terms of the area of biologically productive land and water required to produce the goods consumed.

A level of personal or family income below which one is classified as poor according to governmental standards
