Please see 9 FAM 41.31 for more information on the B-1/B-2 visa.

How do I apply for a B-1/B-2 visa?

Step 1: Please review our Personal Appearance Waiver Program page, our Interview Waiver Program page, and our Group Travel Program page to determine whether you qualify for one of these programs. If so, please follow the instructions on the corresponding page. Otherwise, proceed to step 2.

Step 2: Fill out the application form, otherwise known as the DS-160. The questions are in English, but you can access a Spanish translation by selecting “Spanish” in the ToolTip dropdown menu in the upper right corner of the page.
