Living in the countryside or in town?
Life in town (a big city) is as good as life in the countryside. There are advantages as well as disadvantages. The advantage of the city is indisputable: good infrastructure, with cultural institutions and public transport for example by tram or by bus, so a car is not absolutely necessary. In art, science and education, the city has great advantages unlike the countryside. In town there are many educational sites (high schools, colleges, primary schools, universities, academies, higher education, vocational schools, scientific institutes, libraries, etc.), museums, Theaters. In addition, all major authorities are represented in the city, such as the social welfare office, the National Employment Agency, the police, the court, the collector and so on. One advantage is also the large number of goodwill, and in the city there are important establishments such as the post office and the banking establishments. And of course there is where hospitals, doctors and pharmacies are mostly. Also the varied offer of leisure is a great advantage. In the city, there are cinemas, discotheques, concerts, exhibitions, etc. There are also sports fields, fairs, the zoo and greenhouses.
But naturally life in town has not only advantages. For example, industry, although it is actually positive (jobs), it nevertheless pollutes the air strongly in the city, which will be further reinforced by a lot of traffic. By which we come to the second point. Traffic: many inhabitants of the periphery or on the countryside, going to work in town, and returning again in the evening. By this the affluence will become disagreeable. This will make it even more successful by the numerous construction sites. These are all factors why the air in town is dried and is polluted and it is bad for our health. Health suffers most in the city, air pollution, haste, and scuffle. Stress and so on. These are the important reasons why many people will live in the countryside.
There are also great social differences, the contrast between poor and rich is a big problem in town. I would say that is why crime in town is also much greater than in the countryside. Do not forget the anonymous life. By which it could be a problem to get to know new friends. So, these are the disadvantages of living in town.
Now I explain the advantages of living in the countryside. The greatest advantage to the countryside is pure air and nature. You can walk and see a lot of different animals. Silence is the main reason why there are many people who are going to live in the country. Besides, calm is not disturbed by a lot of traffic because it lacks the necessary infrastructure. These things are the great benefits of living in the countryside. But there are also many disadvantages. The biggest problem is the lack of infrastructure in the countryside. Outside the bus (which leaves very seldom) there is no other public transport. So without a car, you're dependent on someone. Generally, there is only a handful of business, at most a doctor and very rarely a pharmacy. Another enormous disadvantage, especially for young people, is the non-existence of the varied offer of leisure. That's all. For which of the two I decide? I would prefer life in town (in a big city). Despite air pollution etc., I prefer the necessary infrastructure and quality of life. To be honest, though I enjoy calm, I must say, I need the scramble and exciting life in town. In my opinion, the city offers much more than life in the countryside.
