Test on soil contamination.
Pollution of our environment is one of the most worrisome and controversial events. The Earth is a unique planet in the solar system. With a diversity of incredible life, man does not realize that he has an unrepeatable gift in which to develop his existence. The diversity and quality of life that we find here, at the moment, has not been demonstrated that there is a nearby planet.
The issue of the pollution of our planet is not something new, but one could affirm that today its study requires a special importance. Why? Simply because now more than ever the man is polluting.
Several studies carried out by experts have shown that the air, soil and sea pollution in the last hundred years has been greater than that produced in several centuries of history.
"The elements of pollution are the residues of the activities carried out by the human being organized in society. The pollution increases, not only because as people multiply and the space available for each person becomes smaller, but also because the demands per person grow continuously, so that each year increases what each of them throws away, as people become more and more concentrated in towns and cities that are increasingly densely populated, there is no "escape" possible. one person's garbage is the living space of another "Odum (1985).
Why is it important to study and prevent pollution?
"Environmental pollution has always existed because, in part, it is inherent to the activities of the human being, but in recent years more attention has been paid to it, as the frequency and severity of pollution incidents have increased. all over the world and every day there are more purebas of its adverse effects on the environment and health "
Consequences of pollution
To pollute the natural habitat of the human being is like trying to destroy our own home. It is wanting to make the place where we take refuge uninhabitable. If we dirty the air, it affects our lungs. Several studies have indicated that in large cities where there is an excess of air pollution, its inhabitants are more prone to respiratory problems.
It is a vicious circle. Pollution directly or indirectly affects human health. If the soil is contaminated, it can not produce the necessary food that humanity needs, if we dirty the water we would not have the vital liquid to maintain life, and if the composition of the air is altered, even if we have the other two mentioned, neither we get rid of being affected by the abusive effects of pollution.
One of the most important consequences of pollution is known as "global warming". As the phrase indicates, the planet is acquiring a higher than normal temperature, all as a result of the bad action of man in ecological matter. The melting of the poles is a worrisome reality that must start governments to take precautionary measures
