Establishing protocols regarding the explotation of natural resources in less economical developed countries

Its widely know that we our needs are mainly food and shelter, but it is equally true that people are improving their life, because of luxury goods. This improving causes an increase on demand for amenities and goods which are extracted from natural resources that are located in the LEDCs. For this reason the MEDCs have a primarily access to these resources and the LEDCs can't have access to the basic needs.

In 2001 the United Nations create "The United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries", which is an office to deal with the LEDCs and their problems. This office was created based on the resolution 56/227 that consists in establishing measures to stop the destruction of natural resources of the LEDCs. In 2011 the met again in Istanbul for "The Fourth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries" to reaffirm their engagement with the policies that they were employing and to the develop better ones.

On the 30th day of November, 1999 three LEDCs countries Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda designs "The Protocol on Environment and Natural Resources Management" which consists in the compromise that 3 countries make to protect their natural resources from unsustainable and unfair exploitation of their resources.

Italy influence a strong role at the Council stopping the mismanagement of natural resources by parties on conflict.  In each cases the Council had reacted to the problem by enforcing sanctions in a successful and effective manner. 

Italy worries about the situation that LEDCs faces in agriculture and scarcity of food that are caused due to not enough expert knowledge and the poorly equipped that these countries are.

We think that achieving food security and sustainable agriculture is mainly important so, Italy trusts in information and education. The most important aspect is to start insructing the producers in the LEDCs to help themselves such as free institutions, where experts teaches the smallholders how to start a sustainable type of farming. These projects should be financed by the United Nations or fundraising events of the MEDCs. Italy has already began helping this countries by investing in  educational institutions and scholarships. It demands to the other countries to start investing on this.
