LIFE

1. Do you like your home? Do you help at home? Do you help with house chores? Yes/No. Why?

2. What do you think about life in the future? The entertainment, transportation culture…?

To get started I had to tell that, yes, I love my home and I think that there isn’t a better or more comfortable place than home, maybe some people will prefer other places but in my case is different, in my home I always do my homework, eat, sleep, do some exercise, watch TV or a movie and many other things, so the least I should do is help to keep clean and take care of my house.

I help with some house chores most of the time in the weekends, so I do the washing up / wash the dishes, I make my bed and then I organize/tidy my room, I do the dusting in all of the bedrooms but not in the living room or the kitchen and sometimes I collaborate by making the dinner.

After school I often wash the white clothes like my brother school’s t-shirt or the socks. I think that helping and doing sometimes the house chores is something good and everyone should do it, because it helps you to appreciate all the work and things that your mother made daily for you and her family, and also its so rewarding when everything is clean and you know it is because of you.

Something curious is that in my whole life I had never done the ironing or the vacuuming, but I know that someday I have to do it, in the future I will live on my own and I need to be independent and do things like mop or sweep the floor, do the ironing, wash the bathroom, etc.

Life in the future will be very different and things won’t be as we know it today, in the future things would be more automatically, cars wouldn’t need a driver and people could talk and turn their chair while they’re supposed to drive.

Every house will be controlled by the voice and this would change the humidity, the lightning and all the things in the house, an hologram will show your schedule, you emails and the calls; things will be controlled by the voice or just by moving one finger, because the technology everyday is advancing more and more.

Sadly the social life will depend completely on the technology, people will communicate virtually and they aren’t gonna talk too much with the people that are around them, if nowadays we need somehow / in some way the technology and all the facilities it offer to us, in the future people will need it twice or more.

Everyone will have their own car or motorcycle and transportation means like the bus, the train or the subway will still be present in the futures life and would be more modern, but things like the bicycle won’t be used by many people, they are going to be too much lazy and will eat unhealthy food, but they won’t get fat or sick because medicine will advance to the point that many diseases will be cured, treatments will be more effective and people will have a lean and toned
