Im about to describe a picture that belongs to costums and traditions, particullary to tattoing. I would like to begin by analyzing the background of this figure where you can see a white base covered with black scribbles without any particular form. To me, this references to the health effects that tattoing your body can cause. As it requires breaking the skin barrier, it is possible to get infections or any allergic reaction. By using the black color to paint the lines I think the intention is to highlight the fact that at the moment when you decide to tattoo yourself, you are deciding as well to mark your body permanently.
