PRESENT PERFECT FOR / SINCE
FOR:
Use FOR, for a period of time, for example a couple of years, 2 days, 3 weeks, a few hours, etc.
FOR = DURANT
FOR no està definit el temps
SINCE:
Use SINCE, for a point in time, for example 12:48, 1946, last summer, this morning, yesterday, etc.
SINCE = DESDE o DESDE FA
SINCE està definit el temps
Use How long? To ask questions about the duration of an action or a state.

RECORDATORI:
Use the present perfecto + for or since to talk about actions or states which started in the past and are still true now. (Accions que van començar al pasat que encara son certes).

PRESENT PERFECT OR PAST SIMPLE
Use the present perfect + How long?, for and since to talk about a period of time from the past until now (van començar al Passat i son certes ara).
Use the past simple + How long?, and for to talk about finished period of time in the past. (Accions que ja han acabat).
USED TO OR DIDN’T USE TO
USED TO or DIDN’T USE TO + INFINITIVE
Use used to or didn’t use to + infinitive for things that happened repeatedly or over a long period of time in the past, but are usually not true now.
USED TO: abans ho feies ara no. For example: I used to play basketball. Tambe podem utilitzar el past simple.
DIDN’T USE TO: abans no ho feies, ara si. For example: I didn’t’ use to be an accountant.
