My name is Melissa Cerón, I am 23 years old and I was born in the beautiful city of Bogotá.

I remember my childhood with a lot of love, since I was surrounded by a lot of love and love from my family.

My mom was unconditional due to her continuous accompaniment, we have been very united, more than mother, we have been friends.

It's been almost 15 years since my dad left us. Our great company has been our cats, which we have not stopped loving in all our lives. Somehow they have occupied that important space that should have been in my heart and in company with my father.

I studied in three different schools, since I was a very rebellious girl but also and in these moments I was learning very slowly (that's why I could not handle English)

At the moment I am studying the tenth semester of Psychology at the Minuto de Dios University Corporation, with a lot of effort, after having completed a Technical in Commercial Operations in 2012, which I gave up because I had passed the interview to study Psychology.

Today is a decision that I do not regret, because it is better to do something that you like for your future, instead of doing something that others want and obviously you do not like.

I like since I was a child, read and write, I created fantastic stories, about a life I wanted to have with more adventures, because everything seemed boring and routine.

At one point in my adolescence, I was a victim of bullying, I remember that it was due to the weight I had before. The boys were cruel, they hurt me physically and verbally, that's why I tried to kill myself twice with "cocktails" that I found in my house (make this a secret).

Of course, one day I woke up in a hospital, my parents were desperate and I had to say that I took a pill for belly pain.

This made me believe that it was valuable to my family and that only they were with me, that I would never care about others, but that I would try to understand them.

That experience was one of the reasons why I decided to study Psychology, because I want to listen and guide kids from schools or universities with this type of problem, guys like me who can make a mistake at any time.
