Grade: 1 A-B Practitioner:
Unit 5: Places and buildings.
Social Practice: Giving and obtaining factual information of a personal and non-personal kind.
Language function: Giving simple information about places.
Reflection on language: The difference in use between indefinite (a, an) and definite the articles / That some prepositions indicate location.

By the end of this lesson the students will identify and use the prepositions that indicate location efficiently. The teacher is going to check students’ homework, also, some productions will be shared to communicate their ideas (students) and compare productions between them.
The students will work in pairs, they have to talk about the places that they already have in their notebook with a classmate.
(A.E.) The students’ task will be drawing a “map” of an own city with those places that they wrote in their notebook. They will drawing everything in any places they want, with streets and avenue names, names for the stores, parks, etc and the name of the city. The drawing must be shared with a classmate, and he have to make at least 5 sentences talking about the location of 5 places in the city.
(A.E.) The students have to create an extract of the city, inviting to the rest of their classmates to visit it. They have to use /a, an/ and the prepositions in the text.
The students will answer a lesson of the topic in unit 5 (page 213).
The evaluation in this case will be only about students’ productions along the session, participation will be important but not as the same as their productions. These activities were made thinking in students that I realized my students enjoy, like drawing and make quotidian thing for their classmates (extracts in this case).
