Objective:
Analyze the principals of design.

- Search about Paul Rand and his work.
- Select a book that he advertised and analyze it.

- Select one of the books he advertised, analyze his work.

Prejudices
- Provide the analyzed picture and discuss the presence of the principals of design mentioned in class:
Figure-Ground
The most important thing of this cover is that it was the favorite of Paul.
The second part is how the cover catchs the attention of the people, how the central picture (tha dark one) shows the face of the author.
Balance
It has a perfect balance, the picture is the biggest in the cover, it has a percet size and position, it has a serious style even with the shapes and colors it has.
Contrast
The balance between the shapes and colors looks great, this colors talks about the different ideas we can find in the book.
Cropping
This part is in which the designer shows in what the people has to focus in.
The cover has white, whick catchs the attention of the reader bue then other two colors appear and they look great in the cover, the designer used similar shapes and posisition but the cover look elegant.
Hierarchy
The cover is not organized in this situation but I bealive tht each man has to work with you.
Scale
Is represented with a large size of the picture with the main ideas and finally we found pictures as secondary ideas.
