I agree with the opinion of ranald and that material things every day they cost more and wanting to get things will never make easy, it is important to teach children to fight for what they want to be independent and so in the future may meet their dreams.

I had a part time job in a restaurant as a cashier, it was hard because the guest services was complicated and people do not all have the same temperament, had to endure insults, on the other hand deal with employees was not adequate, but this served me as work experience and staff and could help me for my studies.
9. Will you give your children the things they want? Why or why not?
would not give them exactly what they want but they would work in the best way so you can get and also learn some lesson and vein that not everything in life is easy.
10. Do you think it is common that in Colombia children get part-time jobs or it only happens in the American culture? (Justify you answer).
I think that in Colombia the lack of employment and little opportunity for education allows children to take to the streets to seek employment, as they begin to see the needs in their daily bread to survive.
