Same Sex Marriage

Today sex differentiation is not a prerequisite for human relationships occurring emotional and sexual. At the federal level in 1996 the United States passed the Defense of Marriage Act which defines marriage as the union of a man and a woman, so that federal laws cannot recognize marriage between same sexes. A State level marriage between same sexes is recognized by nine states and the District of Columbia. The first to approve, after court decision was Massachusetts in 2004, In 2008 the Supreme Court of the State of California declared unconstitutional the prohibition of marriage between same sex marriage and legalized same-sex in the state.

I am not opposed to these people to benefit from the rights or establish obligations that should have become a couple, I think appropriate to give legal recognition to support their future and protect its heritage, like any other person, and marriage is the appropriate method to give them such recognition. However what if I object strongly are the facts that are granted rights to adoption. The society still is not sufficiently willing to conceive this modality in the institution of the family, and personally, I am not particularly quiet with the idea. In conclusion, I agree that the Supreme Court of our country legalize same-sex marriage, but I completely disagree with the adoption of children.
