ABSTRACT
This project titled "TRANSITION PROJECT OF THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF THE FERRY SERVICE OF COLOMBIA SERFECOL LIMITED COMPANY LTD. TO THE FIFTH VERSION OF THE ISO INTERNATIONAL STANDARD 9001: 2015", is a product of an analyzed need and found as a professional, maintaining the Quality Management System updated in search of continuous improvement and contractual compliance, thus adding confidence to its customers and stakeholders.
In the transition project it will be found the fulfillment of each requirement in individual exercise, in the first instance it was obtained a situational diagnosis of the current norm VS the new version, yielding a result of 66.9% / 100% of compliance with the standards identifying gaps in the requirements number 8 called Operation which is more aligned with the new standard, and number 6 called Planning, a requirement less in line, which should be analyzed deeper, this requirement exercises risk management which is the main focus of the new standard.
The identification of gaps facilitates the establishment of actions to strengthen the system, helping to demonstrate compliance with ISO requirements. In these actions, we find documentary adequacy, the identification of risks and opportunities, stakeholder participation, analysis of each of the processes, definitions and understandings of the implementation changes, and the definition of strategic direction. As a result, a transitional plan, which comprises 5 phases and is presented in this degree project, ending with the compliance and implementation of the Quality Management System with the requirements established in the ISO international standard 9001: 2015, confirmed by an audit made by an external consultant.
This is how the general and specific objectives of the project are defined in order to implement the tactical and necessary strategies concluding the alignment of the QMS.
