Chester Charles Bennington (born 20 March 1976 in Phoenix) is a singer, composer, American actor and lead vocalist of the rock bands: Linkin Park, Dead by Sunrise and Stone Temple Pilots.

• Chester was released in 2000 with the publication of the Hybrid Theory, debut album of the band, after which he joined her a year before. The disk had a strong commercial impact by what was certified diamond by the RIAA and next to Linkin Park released the albums of study Meteora, minutes to midnight, A Thousand Suns and living things. However Chester was opened other paths in the music to start in the year 2005 his band called Dead by Sunrise. In 2007, Chester was put in place 46 in the list of the 100 best vocalists of the metal of all times in the Hit parader magazine.

• Linkin Park is an American rock band from Agoura Hills, California. Formed in 1996, the group was initially built by Mike Shinoda, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn, Brad Delson, and Rob Bourdon Mark Wakefield, the latter as the main voice.

• The band began in that same year their first musical works independently and later to this recorded its first material called Xero; however did not have much success in the search for a record label already that none showed interest in his work, which resulted in the resignation of Mark WakefieldShortly after, Chester Bennington joined the band as a vocalist; the group made its first appearance in a club of Los Angeles and being supported by Jeff Blue, then vice president of Warner Bros. Records, they did sign with the seal in 1999. The group name is a play on words referring to the Lincoln Park in Santa Monica.
