Some of the business failures that Blackberry has are for the competence that has with other companies that make Smartphone’s and Blackberry is just a pioneer in that area and the company is having some difficulties in the success of the launching of their cellphones and also because the quality that has the cellphones they produce. Blackberry didn’t realize that the problem was that other Smartphone’s had more characteristics like the touch screen that seems more attractive for the clients, they were so confident with the functions of Qwerty keyboard and “BB messenger” that didn’t realize all the problems that the new Smartphones were occasioning until the day the problem were too big and the losses were major. Maybe if they start to create a new Smartphone that has better quality, confidentiality and other characteristics that other Smartphones provides to their clients and all these characteristics are the reason for the people bought a Smartphone instead of a Blackberry.

When the sold of the cellphones starts to decrease and the company hasn’t money they start to dismiss employees to start saving money, but even when they dismiss 40% of the employees they still had losses of more than 1,000 million dollars . The company had a bought offer from a company called Fairfax that is a financial services holding company whose corporate objective is to achieve a high rate of return on invested capital and build long term shareholder value. Also Blackberry had a temporary replacement Mr. Heins for John Chen, the former head of Sybase, a software company that he knocked back into shape before selling it to SAP, of Germany, in 2010. Once a permanent chief executive is found, Mr. Chen will stay as executive chairman, we think that these replacement were for looking the good of the company in the way of saving money and increasing sells of cellphones or just for not been in bankruptcy
