Michelle’s P.O.V

I was walking down the street at 3:00 am when I heard a sound. I looked back and saw this boy with gorgeous red eyes and I already knew what he was and that scared me but I was not going to let it show. He took a step forward and I went wolf mode. I was a white wolf blood which meant I was going to be an alpha one day. He looked scared but showed his fangs. I took a step back and he said- “Don’t be scared, I am not going to hurt you, trust me’’- I believed him and returned to my human form. I watched him stare at me in awe.

Gabriel’s P.O.V

I stared at her in awe, she was so beautiful, but she was a werewolf. I decided to ask her – “Are you a werewolf?’’ -. She looked offended and then said – “No werewolves are hideous beasts that feed on humans. I on the other hand, am a wolf blood. We are the ones that save humans from werewolves’’- Oh, god she is a wolf blood, I thought. “What is your name?”- I asked.                                                          

“Michelle, what is yours?”-She asked. I said – “Gabriel, nice to meet you”- I extended my hand out so she can shake it and she did. And this may sound cheesy but when her hand touched mine I felt tingles, sparks, etc. I am not going to lie; I liked the feeling of being taller than her.

Michelle’s P.O.V

I heard another howl from far away and I said to Gabriel-“ I have to go, I am so sorry, it was nice meeting you’’- and ran away from him. I felt like he was the one I loved, but I am not going to let him know that.

The next day a home I went downstairs to eat and I found mom cooking breakfast. I said-“Mom can I tell you something?’’-She said-“Of course, tell me everything’’- I told her everything except the part of Gabriel being a vampire since she didn’t like vampires and she said-“Honey, I think you just found your mate”- I stood there wide eyed. All my life I have heard mom talk about mates and true love etc.

I finished eating and went to go do my morning routine. I was walking and got distracted and tripped over, expecting to get hurt. I closed my eyes waiting for impact but it never happened. Instead I felt two strong, cold arms wrapped around my waist. I opened my eyes as I turned to see big red eyes looking at me. I smiled at the position we were at. He smiled at me and set me down and he said-“Be careful there, love. Wouldn’t want that beautiful face of yours to get hurt”- I blushed.

Gabriel’s P.O.V

She had a beautiful blush and I smiled knowing that I was the reason she blushed. We spent the rest of the day walking around and talking, but then I felt the sudden rush for blood and my fangs showed. She looked scared but I couldn’t control myself anymore. I took a step forward and she went to wolf mode. I had to admit, she was a beautiful wolf, white with piercing blue eyes. She growled.

I wanted to stop the hunger and do what I wanted to do which was kiss her but I couldn’t. She started to run away and I heard a sound from behind me. When I looked back, it was a rabbit. I started to suck all the blood from the rabbit and when the hunger died, I looked around for any sight for Michelle but she was nowhere to be found. I screamed her name-“Michelle, Michelle!!!” I heard nothing.

Michelle’s P.O.V

I can’t believe he tried to bite me! I thought. I started to cry and went to my mom. I said-“Mom my mate did something horrible’’-. She looked at me and said-“What did he do?’’. I replied-“I forgot to tell you that he is a vampire and he tried to bite me!’’-“What are you insane hanging out with a vampire!-she scowled. At that moment the doorbell rang and I said to my mom-“Don’t worry I am not going to see him ever again’’. I went to answer the door and when I opened the door I saw Gabriel standing there, and let me tell you I was not happy.

Gabriel’s P.O.V

I looked at Michelle and I could tell she was not happy to see me, she looked annoyed and hurt. I said-“Michelle, I am so sorry. It’s just that I got hungry and when I get hungry I can’t control myself’’. She looked at me and said-“I forgive you’’. I said-“Good, because there’s something I been meaning to do’’- I leaned in, taking her face in my hands and kissed her. The best part was that she kissed back. We pulled away when something growled. Michelle’s mom yelled-“Get away from my daughter and if I ever see you with her ever again, I will kill you myself”.

I grabbed Michelle’s hand and started running away, and I was smiling while Michelle was giggling. I was surprised that Michelle’s mom didn’t do something to stop us. I stopped in an ally and pinned her against the wall and started to kiss her. We were blinded by a bright light. When we pulled back, I saw a pack of wolves.

Michelle’s P.O.V

I looked at Gabriel and he nodded. He showed his fangs and I went wolf mode. Suddenly out of nowhere I saw a bunch of vampires, I looked at Gabriel and he said –“I got my ways”. I growled and lunged forward as a battle between vampires and wolf bloods began. I looked to my left and saw Gabriel kicking my mother’s butt and I know I’m supposed to feel bad, but she tried to keep us apart.
