In most of the cases, starting university means a great deal of changes in someone's life. Many times it leads to a change of residence from the parental home to a new city, starting the process of emancipation, and as a result meeting new people and learning from them, as well as from the university system itself. So when people are starting university, they are also starting a new episode in their lives. It is the turning point where maturity consolidates itself.

In the first place it should be considered that contemporary human society, and therefore its universities, are concentrated in the cities. This fact implies that the whole rural population who wishes to perform university studies has to move to the cities, starting a process of emancipation not only from their family sphere, but also from their home land of origin. At the same time, this fact of place changing leads to the need to change also the social networks we get involved in, because it has to be considered that humankind is an animal of a social-kind.

In the same way, these new social relationships allow us access to a new range of information taken from all the different people from different places that share their life experiences in social gatherings. But that is not the only kind of information someone can get from university lifestyle. The hole educational system is designed to provide people with human knowledge recorded in books and institutionalized to be taught. And it is that institutionalization what makes many times education in universities a not completely objective one. So the only way to approach it would be to develop people's own critic sense towards the information they get, and that itself it is another kind of knowledge.

All these changes in one's life are meant to change people's personalities, because since humans are social animals, the social relationships they get engaged in determines their living in many ways. In the same way, all the information someone takes from pure knowledge is going to change their perspective on the world, since they mean more tools to face and analize reality.
