1. Robcel: Who and when was it founded?

The Telethon Mexico is started in 1997 inspired event Teleton Chile (effective 1978), in which, through a television broadcast and radio over 24 hours, trying to raise money to help the creation of Centers Teleton children rehabilitation (CRIT) for children with disabilities. Mexico's proposal was born from the initiative of Fernando Landeros Kingdom and Mexico Foundation. The Telethon in Mexico is produced by Televisa along with more than 600 Mexican and foreign media as well as more than a hundred commercial firms that sponsor the event. The mission set for the Telethon is "to provide knowledge about physical disabilities, giving a strong message about respect, equality and support to people in these conditions."

2. Brayam: What is the foundation telethon?

Telethon Foundation is incorporated as a private, and nonprofit, which seeks to change the reality in which many Mexicans live through the daily work of its employees. From the beginning, we dream of uniting companies and media and society to achieve, and create an organization with great professionalism serving the needs of children and youth with disabilities and their families.

3. Paco: objectives

Promote National unity around a common cause. Serving children with disabilities, cancer and autism in specialized care centers base their actions on the principles of quality and warmth. Foster a culture of inclusion of people with disabilities and autism in all areas of life. Strengthen prevention and early detection of cancer, disability and autism in our country. Contribute to the work of institutions working in the field of disability, cancer and autism in Mexico through the Fund to Support Institutions (FAI)

5. Poste: What results given?

For more than fifteen years ago comes the Teleton Children's System (SIT), which aims to unify the structure of operating and maintaining the same standards of quality in all our centers.
