ACTIVITY 1

Write a text based on the next question: “what have I done in my life since my childhood?” Use present perfect, present perfect continuous, past perfect simple, and past perfect continuous.

Hi, I wanted to tell you my story which although it was beautiful, although not very easy. My name is Vanessa Diaz I was born in Manizales Caldas on September 29, 1989, and although I have always been filled with love, my dad initially expected me to be a child, but he soon accepted that I was a child and he always consented to me as I should From the beginning.

I studied elementary school in Manizales and lived there until the age of 10, but since 2000 I arrived in Bogota to a neighborhood called Ricaurte. It was not easy because not only change of culture but also of life people here are not easy yet I do not get used to some things. When I turned fifteen I met who would be my first boyfriend and the father of my first daughter, she was born on March 29, 2009 is called Sahian and I was 19 when this happened. Unfortunately we were too young to assume this responsibility and we did not do things the best way we were together trying to achieve a good performance for 1 year more, but we did not. For this time I was studying public accounting in Uniminuto, which I graduated in 2011.

Were difficult times but that helped me to determine my goals for the future. For two years I was alone with my daughter in 2013 I met Javier and since then we are together, he is my current husband and the father of my future daughter who is about to be born. In that year I started my work in the West Bank and I have been working there since then. I am currently studying in Uniminuto financial administration since 2 years and a half and I also hope to be able to graduate and have my double degree. At the moment I live with my husband and my two daughters in an apartment in Alamos and we are very happy.

It is nice to tell you my story and see how I have grown over time not only in age but also as a person.
