Materials & Procedure: Lab Notes: lists and bullets are OK. USE as check-list during experiment. Formal typed lab report M&P need to be re-written beginning with “Materials used were . . Report what was done in past tense. No lists! No “I”, no “We”, and never, never “you.” [Sodium acetate was placed in . . . . .]

Data: table w/ raw (original)data

(units = what “things” do your numbers count or measure?)

Data Evaluation: calculations (averages, %, etc) may be added to the raw-data table. Graph when appropriate

Conclusions: What is the answer to the Question? Were there limitations or problems in doing the experiment, that might have harmed the quality of the data? What ways could the procedure be improved or done better, to avoid these problems?
