INTRODUCTION

1.- INTRODUCTION.

The transport infrastructure or terrestrial routes, such as for example: roads, highways, freeways, railroads or highways and vias… use important areas in the territory in the environment creating significant environmental impacts. These impacts can be direct o indirect.

The direct impacts of the roads are given from the construction phase of the same, and throughout his life. They are those that correspond to the cleaning, grading or construction of the floor: loss of vegetation, changes in the elevation of groundwater, landslides, erosion and sedimentation of rivers and lakes, landscape degradation or destruction of cultural sites, and interference with the movement of wildlife, livestockand local residents.

Many of these impacts can arise not only in the construction site but also in thequarry, quarries appropriate and material storage areas that serve the project.Additionally, there may be adverse environmental impacts and socio-cultural projectsfor both construction and maintenance, as a result of air pollution and soil fromasphalt plants, dust and noise from construction equipment and dynamite, thepesticides, fuel and oil spills, trash, and large projects, the presence of non-residentworkforce.

Most of the negative indirect impacts are cultural. These include: visual degradationdue to the placement of posters on the sides of the road, the impacts of unplanned developments induced by the project, the alteration of local land tenure due to speculation, the construction of new roads primary and tertiary, the greater human access to wilderness and other natural areas, and labor migration and displacement of subsistence economies.

In this project we will talk about “the environmental impact statement project Plotting access highway north from Málaga airport. Section: liaison new ring road west of Málaga-Málaga’s airport”. That, according to Royal Decree1130/2008 of 4 July, the structure that develops basic organic Ministry of Environmental and Rural and Marine Affairs, corresponds to the Secretary of State for Climate Impact Statements formulate the environment.

1.1.- OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT.

The objective is to analyze the impact that the construction of this access to the airport. This analysis was presented by the Directorate General of Highways

Ministry of Development.

The project involved the construction of a highway access from the north to

Malaga airport, with a length of 1.6 km, in order to address the high demand for

traffic generated by the airport.

1.2.- PROJECT SCOPE.

The project was commissioned by Professor HANS-GEORG FRANT to complement the knowledge imparted in the course "UMWELTBELASTUNGEN IM E& v-Bereich" that takes place at the FH JOANNEUM, University of Applied Sciencesin Kapfenberg, and is centered in Málaga.

The work aims to analyze the construction of a road to arrive to the airport, impacts...

PROJECT

2.- PROJECT.

2.1.- DEFINITION.

The project was building a highway from northern access to Malaga airport that would link the new ring road in the west of Malaga to the airport of the capital

The layout of the new access has its roots in the link in the New Round

West of Malaga ring road autonomic A-7052, and ends at the boundary

General System of Malaga Airport and runs through the towns of Alhaurin de la Torre and Málaga, Málaga province, autonomous region of Andalusia.

To define the project were raised 4 alternative route from the New Round

Bypass west of Malaga. The layout of these was conditioned by the

development of various infrastructures in the environment.

All alternatives proposed are laid out in geometric characteristics

plan and elevation very similar services and the condition is almost the same.

The analysis and comparison of the impacts generated by these alternatives

concludes that Alternative 1 was the most favorable from the point of view

the environment.

The project, proposed in Alternative 1 consist of a highway with a speed of project of 80 km / h. The road left (west Round) will have 2 lanes and right (direction airport) 2 lanes, 3.50 m wide. Both are equipped with 2.50 m wide outside, interior berm 1.00 m and 1.00 m exterior berm, the median width is 2 m between roadside edges of rigid safety barrier of concrete. Projected connections, a link to roundabout of the New Ring Round the west of Málaga regional road to Alhaurín de la Torre A-7052 and another in the end, with access to the airport and northern development airport.
