Introduction
The purpose of this presentation is to let you know more about marihuana. Its advantages and disadvantages and make you create an opinion about it.
What is marihuana
It is an illegal drug which is most consumed in Chile and is obtained from the cannabis plant sative . It is popularly known as Marihuana, Yerba, Pito, Caño, Cuete, Porro, Huiro, Macoña, etc.
Drugs obtained from the mixture of dried leaves and flowers of the plant with aromatic substances and sugar, which produces feelings of euphoria and hallucinogenic. If it is consumed in a excess and abuse, can create dependency.
Forms of consuming : marihuana is usually smoked in hand-rolled cigarettes or pipes specially designed .
When smoke reaches the brain and within minutes the effects can last several hours.
The use of both natural and pressed marihuana exposes risks and causes damage to our body, associated with several of its components, especially THC. If it pressed, we have to consider that the consequences of the additives used for processing it can cause more damage. THC is addictive and can bring many problems to the nervous system, increasing the chance of depression, anxiety and panic attacks.

Marihuana and its active chemical components such as THC has many properties that may benefit patients with cancer.

It also serves to combat epilepsy and hyperthyroidism
Psychological benefits
They can alter your mind in a short period. However, the long-term effects of cannabis on the brain are not well known.
Relaxation
It makes our body to produce dopamine in the blood that can last several hours, however, in the minority of users smoke marihuana increases anxiety.
Improves senses
At low doses users generate an improvement in vision, hearing and taste.
Dissociation of pain
Cannabinoids have a known effect pain blocker, researchers presented 3 cases in Canada where treatment with cannabis decreased chronic pain conditions including multiple sclerosis and AIDS.

DESADVANTAGE
Central nervous system: It causes changes in perception of reality, decreased motor coordination, and responds. Prolonged use may cause a motivational syndrome which is the lack of interest in activities.
