Novela dramática de Sharles Dickens el cual relata las maravillosas aventuras del joven Nicholas nickleby el cual su vida da un giro de 360 grados debido al fallecimiento de su padre. la familia obligada a pedirle ayuda a el tío Ralph Nickeby un prestamista un hombre rico monetariamente y pobre de corazón , sin poner entusiasmo en el asunto Ralph consigue trabajo a sus sobrinos un empleo de costurera para su sobrina y envía Nicholas a Yorkshire donde se encuentra “ Dotheboys Hall “ , un hogar y escuela para niños pero en realidad descubre que es un miserable lugar donde hacen trabajar a los niños y castigan de formas crueles  al pasar los meses Nicholas hace amistad con Smike un pobre niño que desde los 5 años vive allí , por problemas con el señor Squeers quien a causa de cualquier insignificancia maltrataba a Smike Nicholas decide irse y llevarse con el a Smike . Con su llegada a Londres Nicholas desea hablar con su tío y explicarle la causa del por que abandono el trabajo su tío lo desprecio y Nicholas decide conseguir trabajo por su cuenta. El tío Ralph le encuentra a Katie un pretendiente el cual ella rechaza. Nicholas desea ayudar a su familia mas por eso junto a Smike encuentra un trabajo de actores donde obtienes mucha fama al pasar el tiempo Nicholas inicia a trabajar con los hermanos Cheeryble donde conoce a Madeline y se enamora de ella , Madeline se ve obligada a casarse con un viejo que a cambio pagara todas las deudas de la familia , antes de que se hiciera la boda el padre de madeline muere por ende no ocurrió tal boda , Squeers deseaba el testamento el cual decía que el que se casase con su hija también heredaría al intentar apoderarse de este Squeers es encarcelado , smike se  vuelve a escapar del internado ¨lo que no te mata te hace fuerte¨ . Al tiempo de la llegada de Smike a la casa de la familia de Nicholas se descubre que el es hijo de el tío Ralph causando una gran impresión en todos. Ralph nickleby el cual fue un hombre malvado y manipulador debido al vació y falta de amor al enterarse de la existencia de su hijo cambio de una manera muy drástica un hombre bueno el cual decidió pasar el tiempo perdido con su hijo. Nicholas se caso con la señorita Madelina por ende heredo parte de la fortuna la cual compartió con el resto de los hermanos creando la compañía Cheeryble y Nickleby donde trabajaba cada miembro de la familia incluyendo el tío Ralph y Smike . Katie se caso con Frank Cheeryble hicieron una hermosa familia y obtuvieron un  futuro prospero.

With his arrival in London Nicholas wants to speak with his uncle and explain the cause of abandoning the job that I despise him and his uncle Nicholas decides to find work on their own. Uncle Ralph Katie finds him a suitor whom she rejected. Nicholas wants to help his family more so with Smike find work actors where you get much fame over time Nicholas begins to work with Cheeryble brothers where he meets Madeline and falls for her, Madeline is forced to marry an old man in return pay all debts of the family before the wedding the father of Madeline dies therefore it did not happen this wedding became Squeers wanted the will which said that to marry his daughter also inherit the try to grab this Squeers is imprisoned, escape becomes smike boarding What does not kill you makes you stronger. While the arrival of Smike to the family home of Nicholas discovers he's the son of Uncle Ralph causing a great impression on everyone. Ralph Nickleby, which was an evil, manipulative man emptied due to lack of love and to learn of the existence of his son changed dramatically in a very good man who decided to spend time with his son lost. Nicholas married Miss Madeline thus inherited part of the fortune which he shared with the rest of the brothers created the company: Cheeryble and Nickleby, where there working every member of the family including Uncle Ralph and Smike. Katie married Frank Cheeryble made a beautiful family and earning a prosperous future.
