How do we form the simple present tense?
Structures
Possitive structures
S + verb(infinitive form) + the context
E.g.
I play the guitar in the afternoons
You work in 7/11 in the nights
We study in Baird school
They jump in the bed all nights
Rules for the third person
For the third person(he, she, it) we have to add an “S” at the end of the verb(in some verbs).
E.g.
Susan travels to Europe each year
Jim eats pizza every weekend
Mike writes poems for his girlfriend
He plays “Master of puppets” in the guitar very well
Negative form
We use in the negative form, the auxiliary don´t for the personal pronouns: I, You, We They.
Structure S+don´t+verb(infinitive) + context

I don´t play the piano in the school
We don´t like the sushi
They don´t speak english fluently

Rules in some verbs for the third person in possitive form
In verbs that end in : SS, SH, CH, O,X. We have to add at the end of the verb “es”.

Will kisses his wife before he goes to work
Sam fishes in that lake every month
Chris watches the soccer game in that pub each Saturday.
Susan goes to the movies on Weekends
Another rules for the verbs in third person in possitive sentences
When the verb ends in consonant + Y , we have to drop the “Y” and use the “ies”
