Condor: With wings deployed and erected in flight attitude, it is a symbol of energy and effort.
The laurel: represents the glory of the nation.

Golden Sun: means gold, importance for our first settlers, is in the Center, with the signs of the zodiac.
Zodiac signs: left Gemini and Cancer, right Aries and Taurus, which represent the months of March, April, May and June, in which important events which reaffirmed Ecuadorian nationality took place.
