My name is Melany Zambrano, I’m 20 years old. I live in Ecuador. I watch many TV programs. My favorites programs are sports and cooking shows.

In Ecuador the most popular programs are the reality shows, the most people especially younger see these programs. Some people like to watch sitcoms.

Finally some people like to watch news every day is very common in Ecuador that people watch TV but is more common than people listening to music in their job or whatever activity.

Unit # 3

Quito is the capital city of Ecuador is located on the basin of Guayllabamba on the eastern slopes of the Pichincha active stratovolcano. Quito has around 1,630,637 inhabitants and it's the second most populous city in Ecuador.

Quito has 2850 meters high and is located in a valley near the equator. Quito holds spring conditions throughout the year. From June to September the temperatures are usually warmer, especially during the afternoon, while the rest of the year the temperature is usually warm.

Before it was known as Royal Audience of Quito.

The "10th August 1809" is considered like beginning of the Independence Day the Ecuador.

Quito has been considered one of the cities most amazing the world, because its archaeological beauty that it is visited by many tourists from around the world.
