Causes of the civil war

There are many things that cause the civil war in 1642. One of them was the errors of King Charles, including all the parliament troubles. Also there where a lot of religious, political and social problems and all of these problems have like a result the civil war.

Everything starts at 1625 when King Charles I get the power of England. He, like James I, thought that god send him to get the power and it most be obeyed. Most of the people in England where puritans, so when Charles married with Henrietta Maria (catholic women) many fights starts. The puritans hear rumors about king Charles, that because he married a catholic woman he will convert all the simple churches in catholic churches, with statues, music and candles that puritans hate, and all loud's changes where forced on Scottish and many Scottish where puritans, so Scottish attract England because they don’t like religious stuff.

Another main cause of the civil war was the parliament. This is a group of the reaches people in England .the problem with the parliament start when King Charles ignores them for about 11 years. And so when all the war was about to start Charles have no money to fight, so he have to ask the parliament for money to get an army to defend England. Parliament doesn’t agree with King Charles so they put some conditions to him. So if King gives them some power they will give him money to fight.

Another main cause for me the most important is money. King Charles asks in England for some chip tax and the ones who refuse where putted in jail. But the very big problem was that Charles used the money in a very bad way he use it to buy him expensive things like paintings and expensive clothes. Instead of use than money with intelligence, he uses for him self so he doesn’t have money to fight and he has to ask parliament.

To sum up everything happened because King Charles only think about his problems and no in England ones. So al the problems and situations mix up, so the civil war was created in 1642 between the parliament and King Charles I.
