Books are not only pages with letters on it. Books are special, they have good stories and that involve you to keep reading. There is an extensive list of books, for all kind of readers. A soon as we take a book, that we like, we cannot let it go. Many people prefer a movie to a good book, whereas when we are reading our imagination goes farther. It is not enough just to have a good title, it must also be good when we open it. A book take you to feel several emotions, and to captivate with every word.

Since, I glanced at the book uncle Tom’s cabin, I just wanted to read it. Uncle Tom’s cabin became one of my favorite books. I found this book at my house with some dust on it. I needed to find a book to read and that book looked engrossing. I knew that my aunt read that book long time ago, and she abandoned the book. I was intrigued to know what was the book about. I had never imagine that uncle Tom's cabin was about slavery.

It is a short book, it talks about slaves, and how was the life of some of them, in especially of Tom’s live. He is the principal characters in this book. This tells the vicissitudes of Tom, a slave in the 1800’s. He passed through different owners. His life was unhappy, as the others around him. They stories were soulful and woeful at the time of slavery. Tom was clever, hardworking and honest.
