Silent Hill is a 2006 horror film directed by Christophe Gans and written by Roger Avary, Christophe Gans and Nicolas Boukhrief. The film is an adaptation of Konami's survival horror video game series Silent Hill. The film, Particularly its emotional, religious, and aesthetic content, includes elements from the first, second, third and fourth game in the series. It stars Radha Mitchell, Laurie Holden, Jodelle Ferland, Alice Krige, Sean Bean and Deborah Kara Unger.
The movie is about the story of the girl adopted "Sharon" 9 years old Which was suffering nightmares concerning a town called "Silent Hill", determined to know what happens to her daughter, Rose decides to investigate and discovers that Silent Hill is a ghost town abandoned 30 years ago now and decided to take his daughter to resolve these nightmares and return to its roots.
In my view Silent Hill is a very interesting it movie that uses the concept of "otherside" that represents a parallel dimension where the character is their worst traumas and experience the personal hell having them prepared this enchanted city, contains much symbolism, each silent hill is different depending on the person entering, people usually come with very serious psychological problems, and this will turn into a spice and purgatory, I recommend it if you have played some of their sagas ps2.
