In this paper, we want to present a study about Ireland, a European Union country which will be a prospect for our exporting flowers - Colombian company (Gerber or African daisy) and how it will expand its market in this country; you will see issues reflected such as cultural, political, and economic amongst others
In this document we can also appreciate the different issues a negotiator has to deal with, which must be taken into account when having a concession with a foreign country -being Ireland in this case is-, and the fact of it having a different culture, negotiating these issues can be simple but uncomfortable for both parties since there is no prior knowledge of the relevant characteristics of the country with which you want to trade.
This paper will not only show the foreign country in question but also how the Colombian company is organized, its trade policy and other issues, will also show how the negotiator has to be prepared to make a good bargain and have everything clear before negotiating.
