Evaluating Marketing Strategies
How the target market changed over time
Well nowadays there are more ways to define our target market, in the past companies put their efforts focus only on selling their products, the life is always changing and of course the market preferences in the same way, now there are many things that need to evaluate and analyzing to determinate our target market where we will focus on.
Today we need to do things such as a market research, identify the market demand, determine what kind of product we are offering to identify our potential customers, analyzing the competitors profiles, etc.
All this will help us to make a marketing strategy and look the best way to apply it to the market and also to keep in mind the possibility of changing something in the course of the campaign adapting to the market changes, always with the goal of the satisfaction of the customer and the success of the company.
Whether you think the marketing manager should make changes to the products he/she offers
Well I think the work of the director is to verify that all the activities are doing correctly, So talking about marketing, if the company, for example, is offering a product similar or the same with the competitors the director will have to analyze with his marketing department the strategies used to put the product on the market, evaluating if is necessary changing the advertising strategy or if we will need to modify things to the product looking for an innovative idea that helps the company to make a difference against the competitors and win the customers preferences.
Recommendations you might make to the marketing manager
The recommendations I make is that the director always updates their data and get the information about the trends of the market, look for strategies if is the case to win more market to expand their targets, I think is important that the director have a backup with the changes to the marketing strategies if they don't work as the company expected it can be gotten by the analyzing the possibles weakness and threats it has, on the other hand, I think the director always need to have an excellent knowledge of his market to know how they can react knowing this, the adaptation and the changes of the strategies will be easier.
How the marketing manager might be more certain that any actions he/she takes will more completely address the needs of the target consumer group
Having a knowledge of their market and the customer's behaviors the director can manage easier the problems and the solutions to achieve the company's goals, I mean if the director knows how the market could react, so he can to predict by the analyzing of the strategies if they can be work or not even if the strategies need changes of course the actions and decisions he make can impact the market in a right or wrong way for the goals established.
